#20 Kentucky took the #9 Aggies to the test Saturday as Texas A&M played from behind for most of the contest.

With the game knotted at 3, Kaitlyn Alderink busted a game-winning line drive single to left-center, scoring Sarah Hudek.


In the circle, Kayla Poynter started for the Aggies and exited after only an inning and 2/3. Poynter tossed 44 pitches and gave up 3 runs on 4 hits while posting 4 First Pitch Strikes and a Strike % of 68.18

Lexi Smith took over and pitched 5 1/3 shutout innings while striking out 10. Smith ended the contest with 119 Total Pitches, 9 First Pitch Strikes, a Strike % of 58.82 and the W.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


Kaitlyn Alderink blasted a single to left-center scoring the winning run in the bottom of the 7th giving the Aggies a 4-3 Win over Kentucky.
