Fort Worth, TX--We like Ballparks with Magic—And Lupton is one of those.

Front and Center, bottom of the 9th, an outstanding performance from Kansas RHP Ryan Cyr  was turned upside – down.

With the Frogs on the bottom end of a  4-2 score, Cyr was pulled in the 9th after giving up a double and a walk. After the change, Andrew Keefer’s double tied the score at 4 and an Intentional Walk later, Alex Isola blasted a full count Fastball over the left field wall.

Frogs win, 7 – 4.

 

Charles King got the start for TCU, tossing 100 pitches with 22 First Pitch Strikes.

King ended his outing with a Strike % of 68. Haylen Green came in for 6 pitches followed by Cal Coughlin who faced 6 hitters with 18 pitches, 6 of them First Pitch Strikes.

Coughlin recorded a 72.22 Strike % giving up 1 hit and striking out 1 and recorded the win, as well.

 

As a Staff, TCU had a Strike % of 68.55 with 85 strikes thrown, 29 of those were First Pitch Strikes.
